CEFR Levels — A1 → C2
Each level has clear learning outcomes, suggested hours and sample topics. Progression recommended after level test & teacher confirmation.
A1 — Beginner
Outcome: Understand & use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases. Introduce yourself and ask/answer personal questions.
Focus: Basic greetings, alphabet & sounds, simple sentence structure, numbers, essential vocabulary.
A2 — Elementary
Outcome: Communicate in simple routine tasks requiring simple, direct exchange of information.
Focus: Simple present/past, everyday topics, directions, shopping dialogues, short writing.
B1 — Intermediate
Outcome: Handle most situations while travelling; produce simple connected text on familiar topics; describe experiences and events.
Focus: Expanding vocabulary, narrative tenses, report & opinion writing, listening to longer speeches.
B2 — Upper Intermediate
Outcome: Understand main ideas of complex text; interact with native speakers with a degree of fluency and spontaneity.
Focus: Complex grammar, nuanced vocabulary, debate & presentation skills, detailed writing.
C1 — Advanced
Outcome: Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes; produce well-structured, detailed text.
Focus: Academic writing, advanced idioms, professional presentations, critical listening & reading.
C2 — Proficiency
Outcome: Understand virtually everything heard or read; summarise information from different spoken and written sources coherently.
Focus: Near-native fluency, research writing, high-level discourse, exam preparation for top proficiency tests.

B1 — B2 (Developing Fluency)

- Will I get a certificate?
- Students who complete a level and pass the final assessment receive a completion certificate mentioning the CEFR-equivalent level.
