Selection Rules (summary)
- Major: Choose one honours/major subject — this will be your core throughout the degree.
- Minor: Pick one minor/subsidiary subject if your university requires it (optional for some programmes).
- AECC: Compulsory courses such as Environmental Studies, English Communication, or similar (as per university).
- MDC: Required complementary or allied paper(s) for your major (check department rules).
- SEC: Skill Enhancement Courses — practical/skill oriented short courses to boost employability.
- VAC: Value Added Courses or additional electives — optional choices to widen knowledge.
Important: University-specific rules determine credit distribution (e.g. number of papers per semester, lab vs. theory). Always confirm combination eligibility with the department before final submission.
